Pneumatically driven horizontal un – and recoiler for band saw blades

Uncoiling off respectively recoiling towards the minor diameter of the coil results in a slack band with a bight, which does not affect the working procedure at the served machine e.g. presses and sharpening machines.

A slack band eliminates the accident risks.

The coiler plate can be inclined 25° and be driven, (air motor 0,23 kW) in optional direction with max. 26 rpm. at 6 bars. On request other rotation speeds.

The speed limit is adjusted with a pressure regulator.

For control of the drive the coilers can be supplied with two alternative systems.
a.) Constant speed but intermittent.
b.) Automatically variable speed. Suitable to faster machining operations with long feed motion.

In the both systems a sensor arm that affect an air valve follows the dimension variation of the band bight.
The coiler disks are made of cast aluminium outer-Ø 880 mm or steel plate outer-Ø 900 and 1.100 mm.
The mandrel on the plates consists of 6 adjustable segments for outer coil-Ø 300 - 1.100 mm.
